I'm sure you're all wondering what happened to me. I just have been taking the month off from blogging:) In recent moments:
- Belinda is walking!!
- Katie Marie saw a stuffed porcupine on a preschool fieldtrip and said, "look mom it's a pine corn"
- My brother (8 yrs. old) said, that Belinda was a "fancy star" because she could walk so good.
- Katie Marie and I had this conversation today: KM: "I love you 5 mom" Mom: "well, I love you 6" KM: "I love you 5 and 6" Mom: "Well then I love you 7 and 8" KM: "I love you 7 and 5" Mom: "Well then I love you 8 and 6" KM: "oh you win!"
- Belinda was dancing and swaying back and forth to the song "Follow the Prophet" yesterday. So cute!!!
We are also currently trying to organize. If Katie Marie doesn't clean up her room I give her a warning and then I go and get a big bag and start putting her toys in it. She then has to earn them back by doing smaller chores like unloading the dishwasher. The other day I asked her to clean her room and she said, "go get the bag." I think we have too many toys. With no playroom it's sad to say, but we just can't accommodate all of the toys anymore. Time to dejunk.
- We went swimming this month
- We had a campout and set up our tent in the living room, roasted marshmallows over the stove, and went on a bear hunt!!! Fun.
- Randy has also been playing basketball (as long as he can keep from spraining his ankle anymore then he should be good).
- Katie Marie talks in her sleep. Funny!!!
These are just some of the fun happenings in January!!! I'll try and be more on top of it in the future. I might get around to posting a few pictures:)
I felt really spontaneous one day and so I went and bought a fish. Katie Marie named him "Makai" and she's absolutely certain he's a girl. She corrects me every time I say, "him."

I LOVE this picture of Belinda with her crazy hair and messy face. This is my favorite smile of hers with that scrunchy nose and four little teeth.
I had tons of videos of Belinda walking everywhere, but I chose this one because it shows how she stands up without using hands. Just like a "fancy star."
