Our year wrapped up and ready for change!

To the Tune of "The 12 days of Christmas"
-On the twelfth day of Christmas our year gave to us...
-12 thousand volunteers.
-11 homes mud flooded.
-10 thousand garden grubs.
-9-teen helical piers.
-8 months of running.
-7 years of marriage.
-6 hundred dollar CT scan.
-5 thousand plus burned acres!!!
-4-wheeling adventures.
-3 jobs to juggle.
-2 evacuations.
-and a one and only full marathon!!!!

Well, it hasn't been easy, but we're excited to start fresh with a new hopefully less eventful year.

I've also, been pondering a lot about ways that I can get back on my feet spiritually after the craziness of the last 2 1/2 years. I received an awesome book for Christmas called, "Change your Questions, Change your Life," by Wendy Watson Nelson. I think it will really help me be more positive with myself, children, and husband. Here's a question for all of you:

What positive questions do you ask your children  instead when you really want to ask the question "what were you thinking?" or "Why did you do that, when I told you not to?"

I'm looking for several positive alternatives. I really want to completely change the questions in my life that I ask others and be more positive. This will be my focus for 2013. I've decided that I need to decide what questions to ask before the situation presents itself so that I'm not so frustrated that I ask a negative question instead. Any ideas are welcome!
